Change - The Young Veins.
I really don't care what anyone say, I think that it is very early Beatles/Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band esque. I'm not complaining though because I enjoy that era of the Beatles a lot. It also sort of reminds me of their song "There's a Place", but maybe that's just me.

New Perspective didn't really throw me off center either. Both songs were what I expected post split. But, might I just say that Lily and I called it. I think the new album is going to blow up to I Write Sins level blowing up. If they continue on in this direction and leave that Babylon (LOL here's looking at you Brian Kinney) Gay Club music (also known as Oh, Glory) behind them I think that the new album will really take off.

The show was really good, despite that fact that they had to cut the set short because Sean was about to keel over from being so sick.

Pictures and bit of a story under here. )

Completely and utterly so.
R.I.P Phantom Planet. I will miss you. I feel so awful for them.
Honestly, their fan base has exploded since they HCT this past spring.
They were exposed to such an immensity of new fans, it's tragic that they're calling it quits.

I'm so incredibly proud of my country this week.
We elected a minority as president.
I was part of making this historic day possible.
I voted for Barack Obama, that is something that I can proudly tell my children and grandchildren one day.

I believe with all my heart that this man is going to do all that's within his power to make some positive changes in this nation. Are all his decisions going to be favorable? Probably not, but they will shape our nation back into what it should be.

That's all for now I guess.

This is super long (I’m not kidding, but I think it’s worth the read) so I’m going to post it on my live journal, fake cut obviously. Videos and Pictures are linked/posted in the order in the story that they happened so they aren’t all at the bottom, just so you know.

Give me an add if you want just make sure to leave a comment on my F.O entry

I only watched bits and pieces of it so I didn't get the full affect of Palin sailing in her big vast pool of failure.
High Points that I saw
- Palin saying "nucular" instead of the correct word nuclear
- Biden's angry huffs at Palin's attempt to persuade the people of America that Obama lies
- Palin making herself seem like she's middle class. (I'm sorry having your own jet is not middle class)
- Palin being able to pronounce Akmadinajad while her more important counterpart MCCain stumbled over the word.

That's about it.
I could totally see Palin attempting to create an assassination attempt on McCain so that she can be president if he wins.
Lord help us if he does.

OBama is currently obliterating McCain. McCain is more focused on shit talking Obama versus actually getting around to talking about the issues. Obama has such a better plan to cut taxes than McCain. McCain just seems completely deceitful.

More later.
